Pickles

Cool targeted spot, but not my cup of tea. Very friendly staff, some interesting choice of in-house made products - however I couldn't finish half of my bacon sandwich and barely could eat the fried pickles. Overall, tasty for one bite, but greasy to the level of unbearable. Looks also extremely appealing. I don't want to misreview this, as they are doing great and offering what is promised. But just letting you know, that even as a greasy food lover, I found it challenging to eat my food. The kola tonic from kofiti was weirdly good and worth a try. Otherwise, very nicely decorated, with colors and products spread all over with a touch of fresh flowers that gave it quite a warm feeling.

Amazing food. Amazing service for the nice lady owner. The seating is not comfortable at all, but it’s a high stools bar style - eating fast and leaving. Amazing place definitely worth the visit

If ever you’re lucky enough to fit inside, grab a stool and indulge. The menu seems rudimentary, but everything is prepared soulfully and expertly. It feels like a pilgrimage to the root of what you first loved about food. Photographed the signature pickles alongside ‘corn ribs’, I was sadly unable to document the world-class fish sandwich due to the speed with which I consumed it.

We had such a great experience here. The relaxed atmosphere and the fact that the food is cooked in front of you adds to the vibe. The food was so good and fresh, extremely well seasoned and. We came here for the fired pickles and the ham and cheese sandwich but was pleasantly surprised by the pork katsu. They also have an extremely sour ale resembling pickle juice that we really liked.

So so good! The various homemade chili oils are a nice touch. Cheesecake is heavenly.

Great place to go out for lunch or dinner! We tried out three tasty dishes: Cauliflower, Eggplant in Panko, and Calamari. My personal favourite was the eggplant in panko, very crispy and nice texture, with a nice combination of soy sauce and some other spices. Onion topping was perfect. Great value for money also! Hopefully it will be opened again also during the weekendays.

Wanted to try this place for a while and it really lives up to the hype! The mecfiș burger is delicious and a big portion as well and the deep-fried pickles are a must. We caught a slow moment when we got there and the atmosphere of the place itself is very welcoming. You can tell the owners are passionate and really involved in their craft. Good selection of beers also, including anagram and hop hooligans.

Best sandwiches I ate recently, the cooks are amazing and the atmosphere is great! A bit crowded on weekends and not a lot of space to eat outside but if you can, take it to go and walk around the streets, the neighborhood is lovely.
